Ladakh Premier League 2020: A good news for all the Cricket lovers across the Union Territory of Ladakh. Cricket Association of Ladakh has organised first LPL 2020.

The First Ladakh Premier League 2020 has been organised by Cricket Association of Ladakh (CAL) in collaboration with Tip Top Sports and Cultural Welfare Society and Avengers Sporting Club. The League started from November 1, 2020 at NDS Ground Leh.

A total of 20 Local Teams will battle for the Final LPL Cup. The Fixtures for the league matches is up. People can also witness Live Score, Updates, Schedule and online status at CricHeroes App.

Upper Leh Councillor Phunsog Stanzin Tsepag inaugurated the Ladakh Premier league at NDS Stadium, today.

Speaking on the occasion, Tsepag said, tournaments like these are a big opportunity for youth in Ladakh region to prove their talent.

The District cricket association Leh established in Oct 2020 and affiliated to BCCI through JKCA. The main objective is to promote, organize, manage and control the game of cricket in Leh region.

The election was conducted and Padma Tamchos (Atam) elected as the President of Leh District Cricket Association.

Other office bearers were also elected with Anis Ul Rehman as vice president, Rigzin Spalgon as Secretary, Tonyout Namgyal as Joint Secretary and Wasim Akram Malik as Treasurer.

It was the first time, a formal election was conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in Leh district after the dissolution of the former executive body of JKCA.

The process was done following a High Court order to conduct fresh elections in all the Districts affiliated to BCCI through JKCA.
