“Har Ghar Dastak”: Government has moved a step forward to boost the Covid-19 vaccination program in the country by announcing “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign which will ensure door to door Covid-19 vaccination starting from next month.
Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya during the national review meeting with Health Ministers of various states has forced upon the main focus of “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign in those districts which have performed poorly in vaccination program and to enthuse and motivate people towards full COVID vaccination”.
Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya also took to his twitter handle to announce the “Har Ghar Dastak” Campaign:
आज राज्यों व UTs के स्वास्थ्य मंत्रियों के साथ बैठक की व COVID-19 टीकाकरण, कोविड प्रबंधन तथा PM आयुष्मान भारत हेल्थ इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर मिशन को लेकर सार्थक चर्चा हुई।

In the “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign the health workers will conduct vaccination drives for people eligible for second dose as well as first dose. The Union Health Minister stated that adequate vaccine doses are available in the country, and more than 12 crore balance unulitised doses are available with the states for administering.
“No district should be without full vaccination, let us aim to cover all eligible with 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine by end-November 2021”, he added.
Meanwhile India’s cumulative vaccination coverage has crossed 103.99 crore as on 27 October.
