Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones aka Dean Mervyn Jones AM passed away Thursday, September 24 after suffering a cardiac arrest. He passed away at the age of 59 in Mumbai.
He was an Australian cricket commentator, coach and former cricketer, who played Tests and One Day Internationals for Australia.
Dean Jones was part of the Star Sports commentary team. Star Sports said in a statement, “It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Mr. Dean Mervyn Jones AM. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest”.
